Is there such a thing as knowing your purpose and passion too early in life? Are those who explore, search, question and “try on” various experiences and personas any better for all that searching?
Yes and no.
The sooner you are clear and connected and know your purpose and passion the sooner you can fulfill your life plan.
For those who forget, are derailed or get caught up in the searching, a lot of time can pass by. Time that can add to the confusion of what you may already have known to be true.
Coaches and healers helping will often find that the client already knew their passion. They just forgot to claim it and state it out loud and they certainly didn’t take action to make it a reality.
Generally, the thing that you are most passionate about is probably something that excited you as a child.
Children are more open hearted and better able to recognize their purpose until something or someone in their life causes them to shift away from the purpose. Clients often discover that the thing that made them the most unusual or even an outcast is that thing that is your greatest gift.
My own story is of a child who found an amazing world in the world of insects, wild cats, stray dogs and nature. I thought that everyone had friends in the wild that they could talk with and who would visit and play with them. Looking back there were many signs of my purpose and passion:
~Charlie – The praying mantis, who came when called, went for car rides to my relatives and played in their yard until it was time to go home again.
~There was also the Bullfrog family who I spent countless hours with under the lilac tree outside my bedroom window.
~Bees who never seemed to frighten me and always understood that they could visit, sit on me and if they waited their turn could have a morsel of whatever picnic fare was being served.
~Ladybugs always found their way into just sitting on my head or shirt -quite content for long stretches of time.
~And feral farm cats -who would run to me and sit in my lap when I would go with my grandfather to pick up fruits/veggies to sell at his garden center/nursery. Tiger was one such cat. The owners Mr&MrsTeepe (I’ll never forget them) were so amazed at his reaction that they boxed him up and sent him home with me. Years later when I would return on college break – all I had to do was say his name and he would appear from the deep underbrush of vegetation at my grandfathers’ property. Everyone was amazed – they would tell me: “We never ever see him until you come home.”
While I was derailed from my passion and purpose early in life, my re-discovery of what I was here to do, began in earnest around the age of 39. At first I thought -”Oh, I love doing massage and helping people feel better”. And that was great and still is great but one day after much personal development I realized that my childhood experiences with animal communication extended to the high self of the human spirit and to other realms such as the divine, angelicand ascended master realms. And my greatest joy came when I realized that I am happiest when I am doing “High Spiritual Work” to help others achieve their own happiness and joy.
So really, Charlie the praying mantis was the purest form of my purpose and passion. Connecting you to all of you and to the Divine. Providing you with access, healing and guidance from other realms.
I am a funnel of energy, a conduit and change champion to help you re-awaken the purpose and passion that you may have forgotten.
Whenever you awaken to your true self is perfect. Sometimes we all need a little help along the way. I did and I’m glad I did. I met wonderful healers in my journey. But let’s face it, the world needs all of us to be doing the thing we are most passionate about. I never once said to myself, I want to be in the insurance industry. But there are others who probably have said that. Honestly, there were many projects & skills that I loved utilizing and people that I really cared about. But it wasn’t my passion or purpose, I was very good at it but it wasn’t good for me. So, do you know……
What is your purpose and passion?
Did you always know?
How did you remember?
or
Are you still searching?
Discovering, re-discovering the magical miracle that is you can be fun and well worth the exploration.
